2000’s~

• 2000
  Holds the signing ceremony for the Daejeon Riverside Expressway, Korea’s first private investment project by foreign funding
• 2001
  Launches the residential apartment brand, Doosan We’ve
• 2002
  Opens Section 230 of the Busan Subway System (the first application of the large diameter shield method in Korea)
• 2003
  Deokso Doosan We’ve receives the Grand Prize for the 2003 Apartment with Good Living Environment Contest hosted by Maeil Daily
  Chuncheon Dumir Military Apartment and Air Force Club receive the Grand Prize for the Korean Construction Culture Awards (Residential Sector: Main Prize, Non-Residential Sector: Winner)
• 2004
  Merges with Korea Industrial Development Company and changes its trade name (Doosan E&C Co., Ltd. to Doosan Industrial Development Company)
  Yongin Singal New Millennium Residential Complex receives the Main Prize for Completed Building at the Korean Construction Culture Awards
• 2005
  Introduces the Shin-Bundang (Gangnam – Jeongja) Line (Korea’s first subway line built using private capital)
• 2007
  Begins the construction for Haeundae Doosan We’ve the Zenith (Korea’s first 80-storey mixed-use building)
  Receives the industry’s first Certificate of Safety and Health Management System (KOSHA 18001 and OHSAS 18001)
• 2008
  Receives the Grand Prize for Civil Works on the 2008 Civil Works’ Day
  Dongtan New City Purun Maeul Doosan We’ve receives the Presidential Award at the 12th Good Apartment Awards
  Opens Art Square - Housing and Culture Exhibition Center
  Receives the Grand Prix at the 16th Safety Management Grand prix
• 2009
  Becomes the first Korean construction company to receive Germany’s IF Communication Design Award for Art Square
  Its eight architectural designs are chosen as Good Design
  Becomes the first Korean construction company to receive Germany’s Red Dot Design Award for Art Square
  Receives the Grand Prix for Apartment Construction Area at the Service Management Awards
  Forms a Green Committee
  Receives the Presidential Award at the 8th Safety Grand Prix Competition for Daegu Doosan We’ve the Zenith (the first in the construction industry)
• 2010
  Celebrates its 50th anniversary
  Acquires KEPIC certification
  Merges with Doosan Mecatec
• 2011
  Acquires KOSHA 18001 Certification for Changwon Plants 1 and 2
